NAMI Middlesex coordinates a variety of programs to provide support and education on mental illness. These programs make it possible for people with mental illness, family members, and the general public to learn the facts about mental illness.
NAMI MiddLesex/IFSS Webinars
Our educational and advocacy meetings are supported and Co-chaired through Rutgers UBHC Intensive Family Support Services (IFSS). We invite local experts from social service, health, and wellness fields to meet our members and their families. Questions are encouraged. Disability Law: What Families Need to Know

The purpose of this 1-hour workshop is to educate families who have a loved one with a disability about legal issues that can impact them and their loved one. Local legal professionals will address topics such as placement and education of adult disabled students through the school district; psychiatric advance directives; protective orders; guardianship; and emotional support animals. All are welcome!

YOUNG ADULT CLUB
Our Young Adult Club provides recreational opportunities and fellowship. The events are generally held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoon of every month in Middlesex County, unless we have a special outing planned! Casual Outing
The Casual Outing Group provides recreational and social opportunities for adults over 35 with mental health challenges. The program activities typically include dinner and range from games to arts/crafts and other activities. The events take place the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at The Reformed Church, Highland Park. Contact NAMI at (732) 745-0709 to join.
