NAMI Middlesex coordinates a variety of programs to provide support and education on mental illness. These programs make it possible for people with mental illness, family members, and the general public to learn the facts about mental illness.

NAMI MiddLesex/IFSS Webinars

Our educational and advocacy meetings are supported and co-chaired through Rutgers UBHC Intensive Family Support Services (IFSS). We invite local experts from social service, health, and wellness fields to meet our families. Questions are encouraged. Speaker Series meets on 1st Monday of the month from 5:30 – 7:30 PM via Zoom.

Our family support group is co-chaired with Intensive Family Support Services at Rutgers. Meetings are every other Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM via Zoom. Email or call us to meet there! Or register below by clicking “Register Here.”

Our Young Adult Club

YOUNG ADULT CLUB

Our Young Adult Club provides recreational opportunities and fellowship. The events are generally held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoon of every month in Middlesex County, unless we have a special outing planned! Activities range from mini-golf, trips to Menlo Park Mall, and picnics in the park. Casual Outing

The Casual Outing Group provides recreational and social opportunities for adults over 35 with mental health challenges. The program activities typically include dinner and range from games to arts/crafts and other activities. The events take place on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at The Reformed Church, Highland Park. Contact us at mccasualouting@gmail.com or call NAMI at (732) 745-0709 to join.

Family To Family Education

Family to Family is a 9-week education course for families of adults living with mental illness. We are always ready to meet new family members who are ready to help their loved ones work through any challenges.
